Winter/Short Breaks
Cornwall is a beautiful place to visit at any time of year. It’s natural attractions take on a different aspect during the autumn and winter months. They afford the same pleasure but without the summer crowds. There are an increasing number of attractions that are opening throughout the year and many arrange seasonal special events; such as the festive market and ice rink at the Eden Project and the Santa Train Specials on Bodmin Steam railway. Alternatively you may enjoy walks through rolling countryside or along the breathtaking beaches. Festival events include Christmas food fairs, farmers' markets, food-related guided walks, boat trips and magical mystery tours.
However you choose to spend your day, you can return to a relaxing evening in front of a cosy log fire and a movie from our DVD collection.
Short breaks are available Friday to Monday and Monday to Friday (but we can be flexible). Bookings for short breaks are accepted at any time From September until the end of April (excluding Easter weeks) . At other times short breaks are only accepted four weeks before the arrival date. Short Breaks are charged at 70% of the full week price. Please check the main (full week) calenders for pricing and availablity (link below). If the cottage is showing as free for the week you want , then it should be available for a short break (at 70% of the full week price).
